Is KOI the same salon as New Lady Nail & Spa?

Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome. To reserve a time, especially on Fridays, Saturdays and before holidays, call us at (203) 795-1717.
How long does a gel manicure last?
Usually two to three weeks without chipping. Wearing gloves for cleaning and using cuticle oil daily helps it last.
What's the difference between color gel, powder gel and UV gel?
Color gel is a polish cured under an LED lamp; it's flexible and glossy. Powder gel is layered powder colour, and it's very durable. A UV gel set is a stronger gel overlay that can protect your own nails or build extensions. Gel X uses soft gel tips for light, natural-looking length.
Will gel or extensions damage my natural nails?
Not when they're applied and removed properly. We never pry off product. Gel, powder and acrylic are gently soaked off, keeping your natural nail intact.
How often do I need a fill?
UV gel sets every two to three weeks, before the grown-out area starts to lift. A UV fill-in is $55.
Which pedicure should I choose?
They go from the Regular Pedicure ($35) to our signature KOI Spa Pedicure ($90); each step up adds more care and a longer massage. Gel on your toes is $20 extra. Try the pedicure quiz or ask us when you come in.
Can I add extra massage?
Yes. Add ten more minutes of massage to any manicure or pedicure for $15.
Can kids get their nails done?
Yes. Kids 12 and under: regular manicure $10, regular pedicure $20, with an adult present.
Can I bring a photo of a design I like?
Please do. Screenshots help us match the shape, length and colour. We'll tell you honestly if a design needs adapting to your nail size.
What if I need to cancel?
If you've called to reserve a time and can't make it, please call us as early as you can so we can offer the chair to another client.
What payment do you accept?
Cash and all major credit and debit cards. Gift cards can be used for any service.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. See the gift cards page or ask at the front desk.
